Customer Service was okay! The food was good, hearty and nice size portions! The music is beautiful ❤️
I really enjoyed this place! The restaurant was small and old but well kept. The workers were really nice and personable. The food was made fresh and delicious! We started with a vanilla latte and cappuccino and shared a blueberry muffin. I ordered the pork chop with eggs and hash browns with a biscuit. My wife had an omelette and my daughter ordered the steak and eggs. I also ordered a pancake and it was one of the best pancakes I have ever had! We were very satisfied with our meal and definitely plan on coming back.
My grandson and I visited here yesterday for brunch for the first time. You place your order at the counter and then it’s brought out to your table. I had the fried chicken wings and waffles. The chicken was fried to perfection, it just needed more seasoning. The waffles were just okay.
My grandson ordered the French toast and a side of bacon and egg. After two bites of the French toast he pushed it away and said it wasn’t very good. I took a bite and it was like a sponge. The more I chewed the tougher it seemed to get. I don’t know what type of bread it was but they were pretty awful. The bacon was overcooked to my taste. He did enjoy the eggs.
Now I understand why they collect the tip first.
This was my first time at Toasters Downtown Brunch-Lunch. I bought the Classic Breakfast😍 and cafe latte and my husband bought for himself a chocolate chip cookie🙄. I was in love with the atmosphere. ❤️❤️🫶🏻
Great breakfast place, the service is good as always
Amazing homemade blueberry muffins and brownies
the ice coffee is delicious too
The food was good but the service was rude & unattentive. First time going (on a friday about 10am) and probably our last.
Location: found by gps. Parking is on the side of the road and you have to pay the meter ($1/hour). Limited parking. Area looks worn down.
Atmosphere: small inside with a few table. Our first time going so we didn't know you have to order at the counter. But we looked at a menu at our table because we didn't want to hold up others while we tried to decide.
Service: while the cashier was nice, she was not knowledgeable about the menu. Even when asked if fries came with the sandwich she shrugged and had to ask kitchen staff. When ordering I asked if their lunch menu was also available (if not we had something else picked out) and she said yes, it is served all day any time monday-friday. So we placed our order for chicken wrap & chicken sandwich. When we asked about the fries, the guy from the kitchen came out, looked at the ordering screen and very rudely said "we aren't doing lunch. We dnt until 1030." I said "oh sorry, we thought it was anytime" and he turned to me and said "yeah but I'm short staffed today." Well, I didn't know. Don't advertise & say it's available if it's not. They could have approached this situation more professionally & appropriate. At that point my husband and I looked at each other & contemplated just leaving. They made us feel uncomfortable because they are so confrontational here.. This place also makes you pay for your food before getting it & have a sign that all sales are final, which makes me feel like they dnt trust their customers.
Price: just know that everything is a separate charge. The price looked great for a wrap, like $8 but then you get charged extra for the fries/mac & cheese/ etc & an extra charge for the drink. For us two to eat here, it was $30. Drinks are also bottled & all set at different prices (gold peak tea was over $3, Arizona was under $2).
Food: we did like the food. It all tasted good. I feel like the food was the only redeeming factor in this experience.
Overall, we won't return. Although the food was good, the service was bad and ruined the whole visit for us.
Loved this hole in the wall spot. A bit hard to spot when driving by, but highly recommend going to. The food was delicious with a very relaxed and small town, local vibe. Portions are big so go hungry!
On a family trip, I was looking for some good breakfast, and boy let me tell u about toaster, the coffee unique taste, grits and shrimp unbelievable, chicken and waffles delicious, the environment was great, service was excellent, my whole family love it, and the people great attitudes and cleanliness.
